The Temple City: Siem Reap, Cambodia

20Dec2016 Our full day adventure at the Temples of Angkor started at 4:30am.  Mr. Paul, our quiet driver with a warm smile, offered us water and towelettes as we loaded ourselves into the tuktuk.  He had a never-ending supply of these two items and he offered them each time we moved onto our next landmark.

High Season of Hygge in Copenhagen

Hygge (hoo-geh) is the Danish concept for relaxing and taking note of the simple things in life. I’m still practicing my pronunciation but I can completely get down with this idea.  Wearing wooly socks and reading a book in front of an open fire with hot cocoa is the pinnacle of hygge.

    Brighton Day Trip

I woke up Saturday morning feeling like I wanted to get out of the house.  London is still feeling great, but we haven’t been somewhere new since the school year has started.  A day trip to Brighton seemed like an easy remedy.
