Week 1 Welcome!
9/15/15: I spent my first full day unpacking my luggage, and rearranging the kitchen and bathroom. I also explored a few grocery stores- clearly very important adventures on my first day in a new city.

Countdown from NYC
9/8/15: Late arrival into NYC made ordering in sushi the perfect welcome back to NYC. Sometimes, it’s the small comforts of NYC like getting delivery and sitting on my couch that remind me how wonderful this vast city really is.

First Stop: Mighty Memphis
Friday 9/4: Mighty Souls Brass Band was such an energetic and talented group! Had the bar dancing all night. The saxophonist was born and raised in Memphis (his other claim to fame is giving Bette and Kwaku their washer/dryer and pointers about how to live it up in Memphis).
